Appleberry Care is a Domiciliary Care Agency & Nanny Agency based in Burnham (Bucks) providing care and support for children and adults in the form of nannies, respite care, home care and/or activity based care across Berkshire & Buckinghamshire.
We can provide staff on a permanent or temporary basis from 1 hour sessions to a full time position based in your home.
We specialise in providing care for children and adults with disabilities and special needs.

PiggybackWhat we do – Our aim is to provide quality, reliable child carers who add value to an organisation or household. Carers who work to a standard of excellence to meet, or excel, the client’s needs. Our carers will be understanding and responsive to the needs of the client and provide the appropriate care that will enable the child/ren to grow and develop in a clean, safe, secure and happy environment.
We only put forward candidates that we think are suitable for your position. We personally interview and vet all of our candidates. The vetting includes CRB’s, references, qualification verification & ID checks. We offer training courses in first aid, food hygiene, challenging behaviour, safeguarding children, autism awareness & more. We can also help your nanny become Ofsted registered (OCR) if required.

To respect the differing needs, cultures and values of our clients. We understand the early years of a child’s life are vital as the stepping stones to their successful future. We spend time finding the right people who work to the same principles as ourselves.
We are based in Burnham High Street and cover all of the Thames Valley Area.
Kelle Roffe, the manager, is a qualified in children’s care, learning and development, has years of experience in Childcare, has two children and a strong administration background.
Lisa Vaughan, the Director and Owner, has an NNEB, years of experience in Childcare and two daughters of her own. Lisa also has an MA in Human Resources and has been a Director of Human Resources responsible, amongst other tasks, for the recruitment and selection of staff within a multi-national organisation.

By the poolWhat makes us unique/different from other agencies – We are a small family run organisation and, therefore, very flexible to the needs of our clients. We understand that the needs of our clients are all different. We work closely with our families at the start of the business relationship to ensure we gain an in-depth understanding of what our clients want; what sort of person they are looking for and what areas they need help with; be it helping the mother/ and or father with day to day tasks or taking sole charge of the children. We do this by visiting the family at home or arranging an appointment for the family at our office if that’s preferred. We provide child carers for all types of contracts. From clients who need a long term permanent, full time carer to clients who just need short term carers to help them through an extremely busy or difficult time in their lives (when a friendly, helping hand gets them through the maze).

After Service – Once you have employed your nanny, we can provide ongoing support and guidance to you and your family, anything we can do to make life easier we will do our best to help with, including a payroll service, Sitters service (includes Sitters for special events), emergency childcare, places to go in your area or advice.
