Appleberry Care is a small, family run Dom Care Agency based in Burnham Bucks specialising in caring for children and young adults with learning disabilities; and supporting other clients to remain independent within their own homes; perhaps taking them out and about into the community. You will find that no two days are the same. Our support workers work the hours they are able to. We cover Burnham, Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, High Wycombe and surrounding areas.
We are looking for lovely compassionate support workers with the following attributes:
Experience in care not necessary as full training will be given. We currently have specific vacancies for the following positions which need filling urgently.
Support Worker – Wokingham
Support worker required to look after 2 children who both have autism. Experience or an understanding of autism would be an advantage. A full UK driving licence and use of your own car is essential. You will be required to take the children out into the community but not necessarily at the same time. The package is 5 hours per month for each child and these hours are used at the weekend. In the school holidays each child has 5 hours per week. Days and times are arranged with mum.
Support Worker – Windsor
Helping mum to look after 4 children with autism. The support will be split between two support workers. 3 hours per week all year round for one child and 3 hours in school holidays only for the other child. Experience of autism would be an advantage. You will be supporting children in various activities. A full UK driving licence and use of your own car is essential.
Support Worker – Maidenhead to Burnham- Term Time Only
Support worker required Monday to Thursday to collect our client from Maidenhead and take him home to Burnham 4pm–6pm. This is term time only. You will have some experience in care and training will be provided for successful applicant. A full UK driving licence and use of your own car is essential.
Burnham: Helping mum to look after her son and take him out into the community, includes some personal care and hoist control, knowledge of peg feeding an advantage but not essential. Some light housework. 2 days a week 3.30pm -7.30pm (term time) and support needed in school holidays extra 2 hours a week during holidays (holiday times vary).
