 We currently have available the following positions:


Burnham: Helping mum to look after her son and take him out into the community, includes some personal care and hoist control, knowledge of peg feeding an advantage but not essential. 2 days a week 3.30pm -7.30pm (term time) and support needed in school holidays (holiday times vary).


Appleberry Care is a small family run Domiciliary Care Agency based in Burnham Bucks specialising in caring for children and young adults with learning disabilities; and supporting other clients to remain independent within their own homes and to take them out and about into the community. You will find that no two days are the same.  Shifts are a variety of lengths depending on client need from 1 hour to 11 hours.  We keep the same worker with the same client to build a rapport.  The care provided is tailored to the individual and a variety of tasks will be carried out. We cover Burnham, Maidenhead, Windsor, Slough, High Wycombe and surrounding areas.

Experience in care would be an advantage but full training will be given. 


You must also have:

  • A DBS Check
  • Full Driving Licence and use of your own car as you may be taking clients out into the community
  • A good command of English



  • £10.91 to £11.41 per hour depending on experience
  • Paid Training
  • Ongoing Support & Training
  • PPE Provided
  • Flexible hours
  • Mileage Paid when service user is in the car
  • Regular Covid testing and vaccination when available
  • Refer a Friend Scheme (T & C’s apply)

Current job vacancies although these change all the time so its worth applying to us and telling us what hours and days you can do and we can go from there.....You will ideally have some experience in care; training will be provided for successful applicants. A full UK driver’s licence together with business car insurance (we can help with this) and use of your own car is essential as this position requires you to take the service user out. You should also have a good command of English.
